Orange Rolls!

Directions:
2 cups milk
1 cube butter (not margarine or shortening!)
2 tsp salt
3/4 cup sugar
Place in microwave safe bowl. Microwave on high for 2 minutes, or until butter is almost all melted.

in a separate small bowl combine:
1 cup hot water
3 TBL yeast

In mixer place
1 1/2 cups all purpose or bread flour (you may also substitute wheat flour for some of this flour)

Add milk mixture to the flour in the mixture. Blend for one minute

Add the yeast mixture and blend for one minute.

Gradually add flour until the dough just starts to pull away from the bowl (6-7 additional cups)
Knead 8-10 minutes. Transfer dough to a large lightly greased bowl. Cover with a damp cloth. Let raise 20 minutes or until doubled in size.

While dough is raising prepare filling:
Zest 2 oranges
Melt 1 cube of butter
Add the zest and butter to 1 1/2 cups of sugar.

On a lightly floured surface roll the dough into a rectangle shape.
Spread filling on dough as shown below.
Carefully roll long end of dough as shown below.
TADA!
We have found dental floss works well for slicing the dough into sections. About  12-18 inches of floss works well depending on the width of your initial roll.
So, slice the dough to desired thickness using dental floss.
Place floss under one end of dough. Bring both arms up and cross your hands so the floss slices the dough.
On lightly greased pan place each roll cut down, let raise 20 minutes.

Bake in a 400 degree oven for 12-15 minutes depending on how gooey you like them.

Make orange glaze using juice from the two zest end oranges and adding powered sugar until desired thickness is reached.

Put a layer of the glaze on the warm rolls. After the rolls have cooled you may want to add another layer of a slightly thicker glaze. Enjoy.
